The Monkey's Heart
In olden days when the animals could speak like human beings, there was a thick forest. It was divided by a deep river that flowed through it t The river was full of large crocodiles. Among the trees there were many monkeys.
The crocodiles wanted to eat the flesh of the monkeys. But the monkeys were very clever. They could not catch even a single monkey.
One day a female crocodile said to her son, "My dear son, go to the side of the river and bring that monkey back to me. I would like to eat a monkey's heart."
Crocodile: How can I catch a monkey? He is very clever. I can not climb trees and the monkeys never go in the water.

to the other side."
The greedy monkey agreed to go with him. He jumped from the tree
and sat on the crocodile's back.
