 1- Do research about the company / organization:

Many people go for interviews but they do not have any idea about the company. Whenever you are going for an interview in a private company, you should know when that company started, what products were launched in it, what services they provide, its C.E.O. / M.D. / Who is the owner?

You should know all these things. What is the vision and mission of that company? What is his principle? What are the achievements of that company? This is all you should know.


2- Understand the Job description / Job Role well:


Whenever you go to interview for any post, you have to understand the job description well. Interviewer asks you this question that how are you the right person for this post? Then you have to tell how you will fulfill all the responsibilities of this post. For example, if you are going to give an interview for the post of Marketing Executive, then you should have all the information related to that field.

3- Be ready for Written Test, Group Discussion, Presentation:

Nowadays all the big and good companies conduct interviews. Along with this, they also conduct written test, group discussion and presentation. Whenever you go for an interview, prepare for all these things. Group Discussion consists of a group of 8 to 10 people.

There is a debate on any one topic. The company chooses the person who debates the best. Along with this, many companies take presentation from you.


4- Go by reading General Knowledge, Current Affairs:

Whenever you are going for an interview then you should have general knowledge, current affairs and basic knowledge related to that field. For example, if you are going for the job of Insurance Consultant, then you should know what is happening in the country in the field of insurance. Which companies have come into the field of insurance? What are their Products, Plans, Policies? You should have all this information.


5- Prepare the answers to the basic questions and go:

Whenever you go to an interview, you are definitely asked some questions like- tell me about yourself, why should I hire you, where do you see yourself in next 5 years, what do you want in this job, how do you fit for this job You have to prepare the answers to all these questions well. You can also take the help of a friend of yours.


6- Arrived on time for the interview:


Many people go for interview but they are late. There may also be delays due to traffic jams or non-availability of bus/taxi etc. But you should keep in mind that “First Impression is the last impression” If you go late in the interview itself, then what will the other person think. You should reach for the interview on time.


7- Listen carefully:


Whenever you go to the interview, listen carefully to which question the interviewer has asked. Many people do not listen to the question completely and start answering in haste. You don't have to do that.
8- Do not speak in a hurry:

Many people go to the interview and start speaking very quickly. You don't have to speak in a hurry. You don't have to be nervous. Whatever you want to speak, speak slowly.


9- Have Confidence in Interview :


It is very important to build confidence. You should have confidence in whatever you say. If you don't know the answer to a question, be honest that you don't know the answer. 


10- Maintain Body Language :

Body language is of particular importance while giving an interview. The effect of body language is very much on the front. Many people sit on the chair by leaning backwards, but this should not be done. You should sit straight on the chair. If you get tense while giving an interview, then you should not move your feet. Some people keep touching their nose with their hands. Shouldn't be done like this.


11- Maintain Eye Contact :


Whenever you answer the questions asked by the interviewer, make sure to make eye contact with his eyes. This increases confidence. The interviewer also understands that you are Genuine. Many people go for interviews and when they are asked questions, they look at the right-left, the clock, the chair, the table. This should not be done at all.


12- Learn all points of your resume :


Many interviewers ask such questions, please walk me through your resume. You know that you do not even remember what is written in the resume. Your answer should be very clear. There should not be any confusion or confusion in it.


13- Be Polite :


Whenever you go to an interview, you have to answer the questions politely. You don't have to show arrogance, don't be over smart. Whatever you want to say, say it politely. Keep in mind that the person who is interviewing you will not give you a job until you see him as the right candidate.


14- Answer Questions exactly:


Many people give direct answers to questions in interviews. Many times when a candidate does not know the answers to the questions, he/she wastes time by talking nonsense here and there. You have to give a straight and precise answer to the question asked. Don't pass the time. Don't waste time.


15- Explain your strengths :


In many interviews this question is asked, what are the strengths inside you? You have to answer it correctly. You can tell the work in which you are expert / skillful / expert. For example, if you have the quality of sales inside you, then you can say that "I am very expert in sales".
